We went out today to shoot the bows and to place the two cameras in our areas.
The first camera for the day went up at the creek one man stand area. We have it set up to point at the scrape we made yesterday.
We also put another one up today on the main trail. This trail has a lot of tracks running along it. We also gathered up crab apples and took down there and placed them for the camera to catch if deer comes to eat it.
Then we went to tackle setting the bows for broadheads. Today we actually had Joni (Nicks wife) there. She came out to actually try setting her pins up.
The worst part of the hole ordeal was poor Willie.. He kept shooting through the target. before we broke out the block.
We ended up having to break out the overused block. The poor thing has seen better days lol. It made us realize as we was pulling chunks out that after have up to 7 people at a time shooting at it all last year its time for a new one. So now I have to go do some research on some good quality block targets.
