I am a bargain shopper. I spend hours online when I decide I want something like a sight pricing and comparing which would be better for me.
Walmart and Kmart has improved their hunting selection a lot since last year. When I went in there they only carried mens gear and it was only outfitters brand. Now they have expanded and are carrying several nice brands along with carrying items that are for women.
Now since I know what certain brands generally cost. Which helps me a lot when I go checking out hunting gear in our stores. I thought I would share some of my fav finds.
For starters yesterday I found Realtree She Camo coat and insulated pants at Walmart. Yep, Walmart! Each piece was only $50 each. Not a bad price at all. So today I went out and had the manager go dig me my size out of the back.
I'm completely in love with this set! The jacket is a wonderful cut for women. It doesn't balloon out to make you fatter than you really are. The hat is optional and it has a zip pocket attached to roll it up in. It has 4 pockets also. The two normal hand pockets plus a zip pocket about rib height. It zips and buttons up to chin if you want it too and it has a high neck to help keep wind off.
The pants I bought normal size and it still has room to add layers. The pockets all are lined to help keep hands warm. Plus instead of having the full pocket flap it has a small flap that the edge of the pockets slide into. Keeps mud and water out.
Now another one of my awesome finds was my pants. Pants generally run $40-$50 a piece. I found RealTree brand pants for Women, for $25.
I was able to also find a Realtree camo fleece hat (Walmart) with a pink realtree logo, fleece realtree pink logo gloves, and headband.
I absolutely live my ball cap too. It's a Realtree and pink budweiser. I don't support the brand of beer but love the way it fits and looks.
My backpack also was a Wally world find. It's not realtree but fieldline. But it supports us women by having pink trim.
Now on to Kmart finds:) I found a pink and brown knit beanie that's realtree. I love it so far and have worn it everytime the temp has dropped so far.
My other awesome find was my insulated facemask. It's mossy oak though but it's still worth buying because on these cold Ohio days it's helps keep my face warm.
I know that not every hunter has the income to drop $300 on a hunting outfit and I hope this helps others in finding kick ass gear that they love for their days out in the stands:) Good luck on your finds.
