I tried my best to get Willie to go out with me and check the camera. I know that big buck is making faces at me in it now. We finally got signs of him there and we'll know for sure with the pics. Plus with them getting ready to start rubbing, It'll be awesome. Of course, Willie is one of those patient wait until the damn fish bite for hour's type so he wants to let them "soak". I agree but that doesn't mean I'll wait lol. I'm going to try too because I do know the less we are in there the more comfortable they'll be.
We was going to go shooting today. We actually made it all the way there with the bows and everything. Of course, then we realize that we had 10 minutes to shoot! Seriously? By the time we would've gotten the bow's out and everything set up, it'd be time to go riding. We turned around and came home to drop the bow's off, get water to take with us, toilet paper, and Willie's safety glasses. We go out prepared! I hate being out somewhere and not having what I need. So yes toilet paper is always #1. Being a woman I can't just pee on a tree and shake it a few times. There is nothing worse than being "damp" while riding. So I bring toilet paper for those "my bladder is on the verge of bursting" moments. I also take bug killer, sunscreen (to protect my vampire white skin), fist aide kit, my contact solutions and case, my glasses, anti bacterial hand cleaner, and always 2 pairs of sunglasses (you never know when one pair will be broke). I put all this stuff in a stylish camo and pink backpack and strap it to the 4 wheeler. Yeah I know it's a lot to carry but you know it's worth it to me=)
Even though it was warm, dust flying everywhere, and crazy, It was fun. The feel of the wind in your face, the smell of the fresh air and stinky mud, and the fun of being out with friends makes it all worth it. Plus on the way back from Radio tower we seen 5 deer! Yep, 4 does and a fawn. One of the does was at least 10 feet in front of me and she turned broadside..made me wish it was time to hunt. It was the perfect set up.
