Let the dragging begin!

So Willie and Nick comes walking in the house after work and I couldn't believe what I seen! They are wearing matching outfits lol. I guess somehow or another without consulting each other mind you they both put on blue shirts and beige shorts! The most hilarious thing I've seen in a while. Yeah I know my life is boring but that's what happens.

Everything is pretty much loaded up already so we jump in the truck and get a battery for the dang feeder in Area 1. The motor is running through batteries every few days and I snagged me up a Realtree t-shirt while I was there. We finally arrive at the areas and went and plucked the sd card from the trail cam and went to Area 1.  We put the new battery in and reset the feeder up. We checked the camera in Area 1 and No Pics! Seriously this has been killing me!! We've been waiting forever to see what all those white pics are about and we get nothing!!! That's even more frustrating. We check the sd from the trail and we have nothing too=( We just seen the 6 point there last Wednesday. So we are figuring they are avoiding area 1 and trail because of us doing all that stuff last week.

We did however go to Area 3 and check that cam. We got pics of a Doe! This area was pretty active later in the season last year. This is the Area where the two button bucks and the doe was shot. This is where I also seen On-TV- Big.  Only one yesterday morning but hopefully now that we will be backing off for two weeks we will see an increase of movement and more deer will show up on the cams.

 We did however go and drag that fourth area. Now we are thinking we might wait to put up stands their until later in the season. Maybe set up a camera and see how the traffics doing. Not much traffic we may need to back out and go to a different spot. We seen some traffic there and we did find a spot where the deer have been bedding down. So we will see if we can catch any more this fall and if we do see it. We will slap up a few more stands
