Yesterday was a Crazy Day!

Tuesday after the guys was finished with the trailer and the feeder, Willie started complaining of itching on his back. I took a look and couldn't find anything wrong. All I could see was what looked like two  mosquito bites. Well he doped up on anti-itch pills and creams after his shower. Wednesday morning when he woke up, Hives was covering his entire back! He insisted on not needing to go to the doctor and continues with his anti-itch regimen. Him and Nick worked on building the feeder legs for hours. During this entire time he is sticking anything and everything down the back of his shirt to scratch. I kept looking at it and during the day they just kept on swelling. They started out about the size of pencil erasers and by the time night hit and he had his shower they was almost the size of quarters! Huge and itchy so he was miserable. Finally, after he couldn't get to sleep from itching I convinced him to go to the ER. Luckily our ER was pretty empty for some reason and we got seen right away. They figure out when he was laying on the ground he must have been bitten or rolled in something that he was allergic too. So they set him up with an allergic reaction cocktail through an IV to help with some of the itching. By the time he came home the meds was kicking in and he was ready to pass out. He slept with no problem all night. Today they are smaller but he's still taking the anti-itch every 4 hours and the anti-itch cream I slather on frequently to keep him from digging. Even though it's driving him crazy he still wants to go out and put out the new feeder! He's hardcore about hunting=) Gotta love that about him, no matter what he just doesn't let anything stop him. I would so totally be crawled up in bed sleeping the itching away through the benadryl and any other med's I got from the ER.  So after his work meeting we will be loading up and heading out there. Not sure exactly what all we will get done. I know he's got to be drowsy from the meds, So I hope he doesn't try and do too much out there today. Even though We want to hurry up and get the stuff done so we can back out and let the deer be comfortable again without the worry of human's evading their home. It's not worth him being miserable. Another week really isn't going to matter, There is still enough time.
