So I took my Awesome Mathew's Craze and Victory Pink Arrows out to do some turkey hunting! It's the first day and I was so excited. This years is my first for turkey and I hadn't planned on originally going but my dear husband doesn't want to go alone=) So we packed everything up and off we went to a couple of our hunting spots to do some calling and see what we find.
We arrive to our first destination. We set our stuff down and started calling to see if they would gobble back. Guess what we heard? Nothing! The river was so flooded that no turkey would want to cross!

So off we went to our second destination. We ended up going to the other side of the river on some other property to see if they are all hiding up there. Now we had better luck with this one. The blind was thrown up, the decoy put down and we sat and started calling. We actually got a couple to gobble back, but we ended up attracting a couple of hawks and the gobbling stopped=( So the only thing that we shot... was the camera. At least we got some good photo's to add to my collection.
